Woodhouse Farm - Facilities

Following a successful Easter we are now turning our attention to the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, where we are hoping to celebrate by lighting a beacon along with the release of our Jubilee Balloons.

Woodhouse Farm is a family owned holiday home, caravan and & camping park with excellent facilities.

Clean, hot showers are available 24 hrs a day with modern toilets and washbasins. There are baby changing rooms, a family bathroom and shaving points. They are serviced regularly during the day, every day. Also situated within the toilet block is a well equipped Laundry Room.

Woodhouse Farm has a shop offering a selection of groceries, newspapers, alcohol, sweets, toys and camping requisites. It also offers gas refills and fishing permits.

There are two activity centres on the park catering for two groups of children. The first is a play fort located securely close to the shower block and is designed for under 6s. It has a small picnic area and there is additional seating close by. The second play fort is for older children and is located at the bottom of the paddock on the right hand side.

The cycle track is now well established and takes a circular route around the outskirts of the park and through the woodland, up to the large lake and back again to the car park.

Woodhouse Farm welcomes well behaved dogs. In the interests of everyone on the park we provide a 2 acre walk for the benefit of exercising your dog and it is the one area where your dog is permitted to be off the lead. Dog bins are especially provided and we request that any dog waste is placed in them.

There are two well stocked fishing lakes at Woodhouse Farm, both offering a quiet location. Fish include Common, Crucian and Mirror Carp, Rudd, Chubb, Roach and Perch. The main lake is situated at the top of the dog walk and the small lake is behind the sheep meadow in front of the woodland.
