Fishing Lakes at Woodhouse Farm Holiday Park

Escape to the peaceful Yorkshire countryside and enjoy a relaxing day's coarse fishing at Woodhouse Farm Holiday Park. Our two well-stocked fishing lakes provide the perfect setting for anglers of all ages and abilities, whether you're an experienced fisherman looking to spend a quiet day by the water or introducing the family to the enjoyment of fishing.

Guests staying on the park can enjoy easy access to both lakes, with dedicated fishing pegs and beautiful surroundings that make it easy to unwind. Surrounded by woodland, open countryside and abundant wildlife, the lakes offer a peaceful retreat where you can slow down, switch off and enjoy everything that makes fishing in North Yorkshire so special.

Our main fishing lake, located at the top of the dog walk, has recently been restocked to improve both the fishing experience and the long-term health of the fish. Offering plenty of space and a number of well-positioned pegs, it's ideal for spending a full day on the bank. The second lake, situated behind the sheep meadow near the woodland, provides a quieter and more secluded setting for those who prefer a peaceful fishing session away from the busier areas of the park.

Across both lakes you'll find a healthy variety of coarse fish, including Common Carp, Crucian Carp, Mirror Carp, Roach, Rudd, Chub and Perch, giving anglers plenty of opportunities throughout the season. Whether you're hoping to land a carp, enjoy a relaxing afternoon float fishing or simply spend quality time outdoors with family and friends, our lakes offer something for everyone.

If you're looking for a holiday park with fishing lakes in North Yorkshire, Woodhouse Farm combines excellent on-site fishing with comfortable holiday accommodation, touring pitches, camping, great park facilities and The Barn bar and restaurant, making it the ideal destination for a relaxing fishing break near Ripon.
